1. Who we are

TrueCSSApp operates the website at truecssapp.com — a free, browser-based CSS gradient generator. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean TrueCSSApp.

2. What data we collect

Data you enter into the tool

The gradient generator runs entirely in your browser. Colour values, gradient settings, token names, and any other inputs you enter are never transmitted to our servers. When you close or refresh the page, this data is gone.

Usage data — Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics collects:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Browser type and operating system
• Country-level location (not precise location)
• How you arrived at the site (search, direct, referral)
• Device type (desktop, tablet, mobile)

This data is aggregated and anonymised. We do not have access to personally identifiable information through Analytics. Analytics data is only collected after you give consent via our cookie banner.

Advertising — Google AdSense

We use and intend to display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to show you relevant ads based on your browsing activity across websites. AdSense only activates after you give consent via our cookie banner.

3. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, we process your data on the following legal bases:

4. How long we keep data

Analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics, after which it is automatically deleted. We do not store any personal data on our own servers.

7. Children

TrueCSSApp is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy when we add new features or third-party services. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
